Whether you are new to (sports) nutrition or already pretty advanced, you might have heard about the holy “varied and balanced diet”, which is the key to help you reach your goal. But what does exactly “varied and balanced” mean? Such a diet contains all macronutrients, coming from a large variety of food. Concrete example: your daily protein should come from both meat, eggs, dairy AND plant-based sources (if you are an omnivore of course).
There are plethora of animal-based solutions for a quick and convenient supply of protein. The one we all know: whey! But what about the plant-based options? Well, there are some (or actually more and more), but the issue is often the taste. Let’s be honest, plant-based protein powders have a pretty “characteristic” taste, to say the least.
Well, this is about to change! When developing this new protein powder, we had one single thing in mind: taste, taste and again taste! We’ve listened to you and to your feedback and we’ve formulated a plant-based protein powder, with a complete protein profile, but most importantly, that tastes great! After dozens of samples tasted, we have identified the perfect flavor combo: chocolate and hazelnut!
On the technical side, here is what you want to know. This protein powder is a blend of different sources, 4 in total: pea, rice, hemp and pumpkin. That’s what makes it different from our 100% pea protein powder. This combo allows to reach a complete protein profile. The word “complete” means that it contains all amino acids. Therefore, one 30g serving brings 22g of protein – and 118kcal – of which 3,8g of BCAA and 3,5g of L-glutamine.
We’ve added one extra ingredient, a blend of superfoods, that gives a smooth texture to the shake, even when prepared in water.
Therefore, this protein powder mixes easily to create a tasty shake. You can therefore add it to water after your training for a convenient and quick protein supply, or use it in smoothies with plant-based milk for a fulfilling and delicious breakfast smoothie. It will then be the perfect fit in all types of diet: vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and omnivore!
