Get fit with Yasmin

Let's start from the beginning. I have had a lot of questions about the actual story behind the start of my weight loss journey. Time to share this with you: From primary school I have always been a "Full girl". At the time I didn’t think much of it, I ate whatever I wanted. I enjoyed every fries I ate and sometimes I would eat them twice a day. "Oh, who cares?" When I went to high school, my weight had reached 79 kilos. I didn't think it was a very big problem. I thought, "Me and losing weight?" No matter how many times I tried to get fitter, it just couldn’t stick to it! Every time I fell into my old, unhealthy pattern.
I had been struggling with obesity for a very long time and I didn't care for the comments from my surroundings. On August 5, 2016 I sat on the couch at home. I wasn't sad or depressed, but I wanted to weigh myself, just to see how much I actually weighed. I stood up and went to the scale. I did not believe my eyes: 83 KILO. With 79 kilos I was still at peace, but with 83 kilos, I really couldn't live with that. Although it was only 4 kilos, this was my tipping point. A little voice in my head said, "If you don't do it NOW, nothing will ever change." The low point in my life was reached and I could only think "This is as far as it’s going to get".
The next day I measured my fat percentage, which was a whopping 34%. This is the point where I realized I was in a really dangerous place. From this moment on my motivation to go to the gym only increased. I spent a lot of time in the gym every day and adjusted my diet. I also continued to do my fat percentage measurement on a monthly basis. In December, 4 months later I had reached my goal weight. I weighed 61 kilos and my fat percentage was down to 22%. I still wanted to improve, but I had made a enormous first step to reach my goals. I still work hard at the gym every day to work on my goals such as creating more muscle mass, but I am also sure to motivate many people every day!
The real secret is that you should always enjoy what you do. Both in your workout and a healthier diet . This way you can keep up your motivation. Never give up and always remember: where there is a will, there is a way! If I can do it, you can certainly do it.
